Airlie Beach has enough activities to keep everyone happy, but what about the "thrill seekers"? Don't fret, Whitsunday Jetski Tours has you sorted!
For an exciting day out on the water, this is a must!
What to Expect
With multiple tours to choose from you can do the "Airlie Adventure" which is the
shortest tour or you can let your adventurous side take over and do one of the other tours like the "Two Island Safari" or the "Ultimate Island Trek".
We did the "Airlie Adventure" this time.
You start with a safety brief with a short quiz afterwards.. While this sounds boring and tedious, the tour guides here are fabulous and the briefing is filled with jokes and laughter.
Once the safety brief is done it's time to hit the water! You do not need jetski experience to be able to ride one.
While terrifying being behind the handlebars initially, the feeling is quickly gone with the rush of whizzing around on one of these. You pick it up quickly and in no time you're keeping up with the guide.
These tours also include commentary along the way, with plenty of photos being taken as well. If you have a GoPro or a sports camera you can also take that with you (at your own risk).
The "Airlie Adventure" takes you to the Sea Turtles area, where you will see their heads bobbing up for air. If you're lucky as well there's a chance to see whales!
We had a whale spotting on our tour, but without my glasses I missed it.
So... Is It Worth it?
Yes! This has to be one of the best water activities in Airlie Beach. They have the reviews and the number one spot on Trip Advisor to back this up.
You will not regret this one bit.
